ABOUT NET
New Element Training (NET) is a Toronto-based strength-training company built around a simple purpose: “Strength Training for Lifelong Health.”
Rather than operating like a conventional gym, NET positions itself as a hybrid between a gym and a clinic, combining medical-quality MedX equipment, evidence-based exercise principles and highly individualized coaching in focused 30-minute sessions. Its distinctive method uses slow, controlled movement, full range of motion and brief, high-intensity sets taken safely toward momentary muscle failure, allowing clients to progressively build strength with a surprisingly small time commitment.
Although the system can be adapted to virtually any fitness level, NET has found its strongest purpose serving adults roughly 40 and older who want to preserve muscle, mobility, independence and the physical capacity to continue doing the things they love as they age. More than simply providing workouts, NET treats strength training as a lifelong health practice—combining physical challenge with mindfulness, careful coaching and an emphasis on being fully present in the body.
The business has grown organically from its first Toronto location into a multi-location concept while retaining a founder-driven philosophy built around effectiveness, efficiency, personal attention and a “win/win/win” relationship in which clients, staff and the business all benefit.
